Rocking around the Christmas Tree!

We are running late this year. Me barely being home has switched our whole dynamic. Instead of getting our tree Thanksgiving weekend we got it last weekend. And instead of decorating it right then, well, we did it last night! Sort of. We are still missing our yearly ornaments (and we still need to get this year's). I guess I wil have to take all Sunday to finish decorating the house before my parents come visit (!!!).

Jump In to Spring With Some Stylish Outdoor decor!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Pier 1. All opinions are 100% mine.

While the first day of spring for us was marked with snow, some of you may be ready to venture outside, open the windows, plant some flowers and just spend a little time in the sun. For us we need a new swing. Our old porch swing, has seen many snow storms, is a bit rusty and tattered looking. So…

Vintage Robots and a Midnight Train to Anywhere

Vintage Robots and a Midnight Train to Anywhere!

Although I didn't grow up playing with trains, I've always found them incredibly fascinating, and, clung to the romance of stowing away on a midnight train, and, as it chugs slowly across the land, under the glow of a warm Summer night's moon, my legs dangle outside the open box car, exhausted from running to jump…

QUEST FOR CHAIRS-MY VINTAGE FIND!

I had searched for some dining chairs and a table for what seemed to be FOREVER...until I saw some vintage chrome chairs on ebay!
