The most common reactions I get when I tell people I use cloth diapers are:
- "omg...good job, way too much work for me though!"
- "Eww, why?"
Which makes me wonder if I really am crazy for using them. I'm not going to go on and on about the benefits of using cloth diapers...in this… Continue

I'm a list girl. Always have been. Always will be.
I like a chore list. I like the focus it gives me during the day and I love, love, love being able to cross things off my list as the day goes on.
I live by a grocery list. I don't understand how people can go to the grocery store without one. Unless you have a list in your head of the 3 to 5 things you need, but then again, that's a list. A mental list? Yes. But a list, nonetheless. Walking through the aisles… Continue

When my eldest was born, I was confronted with stacking pile of disposable diapers that cost me more than I expected. Newborns poop and pee almost every 2 hours, same time as they feed, almost every 2 hours. In fact, most of the time I noticed that after every feed they poop or they pee. SO then I decided to try cloth diapers. I used to think they were still the same as how my cousins we're clothed. Oh boy was I… Continue

So sometimes being a primarily 1 income family is rough. It really is. I do make an income from watching children. I adore these kids. They are so fun to be with. I have been the care taker for one boy since he was 12 weeks old and he's almost the same age as my son who is 18 months old. You get attached to their little faces and their little antics. If you are a mom, you know very well that babies aren't cheap. New moms have so much to buy to get ready for their new bundle of joy and it is hard to weed through the "must haves." However, throughout the progression of my pregnancy we were preparing for (at least) a two-month lapse in… Continue
