Anyway, I had just cleaned the house when my men returned from a summer morning fishing trip! I had lunch all prepared and was ready to set the table on a fresh table cloth when my husband walked into the kitchen and put not only his fishing pole and gear but his just returned from the gross lake shows on top of my… Continue

Washing Dishes...Again

When we moved to our new home eight months ago, I was worried. You see, our new home has no dishwasher. And I had kind of made a personal vow that I would never move to another home without a dishwasher again until all my kids had left the nest.

I love dishwashers. Matter of fact, if I had to put all my appliances in order (yes, odd, but something I've done while living without electricity in the rainforest), it would be like this:

Great Grains: Inspired By Red Quinoa Salad www.pennylove76.wordpress.com

Great Grains

18 Mar

Sometimes, I yearn to be inspired. However, inspiration for me does not just show up on demand. Instead, it just arrives, like a random thought. Minute in the bigger scheme of things but significant enough to make me feel an internal spark that is completely fueled by creativity.  One day not so long ago I felt that spark upon seeing a picture of a beautiful…

Dinner is Done! Meal Assembly Kitchens

Why would I ever need a meal prep service?…
