The real reason dishes aren’t done (today)

My husband’s biggest pet peeve with me is that the dishes never seem to get done.  The house can be spotless, the kids are still alive and thriving and yet if there are dishes stacked in the sink then the whole world is going to end.

Something's Gotta Give

funny-dirty-laundry

As a parent, we're often so used to running on autopilot that we rarely ever even stop to think about why we're doing something.  We just continue to do it mindlessly, day after day after day.  Take, for instance, the gazillion and one loads of never-ending laundry and the gazillion and one loads of multiplying…

Moms’ Timeout Show: Simplifying Thanksgiving (includes a Giveaway)

Calling all moms! As moms we are no stranger to the act of giving.  However, at Thanksgiving we moms tend to have a different type of challenge. Does No One See the Cat Shit on the Floor?

I am not a neat freak. I have written about this before, and I can tolerate a fair amount of mess around the house, but when there have been dishes sitting in the sink for four days and everyone has been walking by them as if they don’t exist...when it wasn’t my job to clean them up in the first…
