Halloween And Pumpkins

I thought today is Halloween but I was mistaken, it was yesterday... During my younger days, it was not as popular as it is today, maybe those days we were not so "exposed" but nowadays, the youth of today are having fun disguising as "terror" as much as possible...

And what is Halloween actually?  I went to Mr. Google to find out more and here is an extract from one of the websites....

Halloween originated as a pagan festival in parts of Northern Europe, particularly…

By the time we left 1Utama, it was almost 6pm... the best meal of the day had arrived... DINNER!  My friend had made plans to take us to a special meal in Klang, one open air restaurant called Bubur Goreng (Fried Porridge Restaurant)... This is the first time I heard of this and I wonder what was in store for us...…

Halloween Atmosphere

Our next stop is One Utama shopping mall in Petaling Jaya. Know what? I have been to this place for umpteen times already and still I don't know the way till today! My sense of direction is really hopeless when it comes to recognizing roads. Thank goodness for my good friends, we managed to come and join in the Halloween atmosphere here...…

Back to my overdue "cruise post" ... we took a two hours deluxe harbour tour on the bay of San Diego... this two hours tour covers Harbor and Shelter Islands, Point Loma, Cabrillo National Monument, North Island Naval Air Station, the Submarine Base, as well as the Coronado Bridge and more...

Last Minute Shopping In Las Vegas Premium Factory Outlets

The very next morning we had to leave Las Vegas for San Diego .....but before we did, we went to the premium factory outlet center to do our last minute shopping.... The mall is just walking distance from our Tahiti Village Resort and wasting no time, after rubbing massive sunblock lotion on our face and arms, we took a ten minutes walk to the mall under the hot sun....…

Michael & I - MJ Live Tribute

The following night after the heavy downpour, it was a time for another excitement, this time it was not as "threatening" as the previous night but a time for a "thunderous" one... an event I was looking forward to since the day I arrived in Las Vegas!

The only SHOW I wanted to go and watch is none other than a tribute to Michael Jackson and he is none other than Michael Firestone!  Upon checking into the resort, we quickly booked tickets to the MJ Live in Rio…

It Sure Rains In Las Vegas...

Soon it was dark when we reached the outskirts of Las Vegas... in fact, it was going to pour and it did!! With the lightning and all, I was quite nervous about the heavy rain and wind... furthermore, the radio kept announcing that those driving to Las Vegas got to look out for flash floods and take a U-turn out from the town....

I think "we" brought the rain to Las Vegas...

according to my BIL, it seldom rains in Las Vegas..

as in the song "It never rains in…

Mai Tai Cocktail Made Me High

The weather in Las Vegas is very hot, I have never experienced such heat but then it is dry, I didn't sweat at all but I could feel my skin like being "burn".. so sunblock lotion is an very important item.. never leave home without it... I kept applying the cream on my arms and try to cover my face as much as I could... not surprising if more pigmentation appearing on my face now that I am home...

No wonder my BIL didn't want to join us during that afternoon to the strip...…

Mother And Son Portrait

How much is it to have an artist draw a portrait of us?  I have seen some artists in action frequently in Bukit Bintang sidewalks and in malls.  I have mine drawn before when I was in London last time... too bad I lost the portrait, it was too many years ago, I must have misplaced it when my house got flooded last time...

I think it is not cheap to have our portrait drawn... Wonder how much to have our picture drawn like this below.. Nothing like the original but…

My Blunder-Ful Day

Good Christian Bitches

No, it’s not a title for an upcoming reality show. It’s a new series on ABC .

Unsurprisingly, the media has had very little to say about the title of the show. Realistically, if ABC wants to market misogynistic bigoted stereotypes, they should really aim for more of a universal and copious approach. They could do a whole series of spin-offs, like: "Good Islamic Bitches". (OoohhhhDid she really…

Freezing Cold in Korea Sun

http://www.reanaclaire.com/2012/02/freezing-cold-in-korea-sunlight.html

Aaron calls me each night through viber (that is one of the reasons he gave me an iPhone to save costs :)  and last night we talked about our plans to go traveling again this year.  He told me that there is a good promotion in this certain airline to Sydney and Hong Kong in March and April respectively.  The flight rates…

My Three Kisses Goes To...

What is a MUST during Chinese New Year? Besides the food, of course.... hahaha... Red packets are very "vital" during this festive season especially to those who are not married yet... they are the receivers whereas the married ones are the givers..

Just look at the receivers' faces... oh, I must also give with a cheerful heart.. hahaha.... the red packet.. it doesn't matter how much you put inside.. it is just a Blessing... not the money that counts, right? :)…

The Kim K Barbie

I'm a recovering Barbie-addict. I played with them until I was like 16, and I still would if I didn't have all boys. I'm a little burnt out on trucks, pirates and Spiderman, so anytime we're at someone's house and they have little girls, I'll immediately wonder if they have Barbies. I even have a method:

  • I'll make eye contact with the girl. Whether she's across the room or simply in the seat next to me, eye contact will be…
