More Thoughts on Breast is Best: Guilt-led breastfeeding

As a vocal breastfeeding advocate, a sex educator and a supporter of survivors of sexual abuse during their childbearing year I have ask myself many times about the validity of “pushing” bf’ing. Yes, breastmilk is best, but if we guilt woman into breastfeeding aren’t we hurting the cause?

I used to believe that breast is always best. I gave the stink eye to bottlefeeding moms, I towed the Breast is Best partyline.
