5 Ways to Enjoy Rainy Days

It’s Spring and the weather has finally started to get warmer. Bikes are dusted off and children’s laughter can be heard up and down the street. Yes, life outside the house is ready to resume... until drip, drop, drip drip, drop drop... here comes the rain. However, instead of feeling…

Everglades Holiday Park Experience (Home of the Gator Boys!)

I was as excited as my husband and kids, anticipating this trip. When we got to the park, everything went smoothly. Today is Mother's Day, but I started celebrating early. Yesterday I went horseback riding on the beach. This was something I never would've pictured myself doing or even being interested in, but the ladies group I'm a member of is always going on adventures like kayaking and I just figured it was about time I get out of my comfort zone and try something different!…

The Fort Knox Candy Breach

This little Weilk family chronicle takes place about a year ago. To set the scene properly you should probably know that Max and Jake share a room when they're not destroying it with Legos and action figures. Don't get me wrong, we are a very clean family and I make sure the rug-rats properly organize it before they go to bed every night.
Anyway, this particular day I just so happened…
