To eat and exercise right will benefit the rest of your day. Mornings begin by turning a light on. And what I do for the rest of the day can keep the light on or burn it out. Giving my morning a generous head start keeps my energy and attitude more positive for the rest of the day. I’m a morning person, but a LATE-morning person. I don’t do wondrous things first thing.

This is a quick, easy, fresh and tasty side dish that you can add to almost any meal. Perhaps this is even too simplistic to blog about, but it is one of my favorite salads (and apparently a favorite with my nieces and nephews as well) so I decided that I'd get it out there.

Home is where the heart is. Sometimes it gets a bit stuffy though. Every once in a while it seems the air in the house is stagnant and not very fresh. No wonder with all the chemicals we get from the fabrics, paint and furniture that is in our houses. With spring here it is time to freshen the air in your healthy home.

One of the things I love most about this time of year is gardening. I am no green-thumb, but I do enjoy the fruit of my labor! This year my garden includes tomatoes, red peppers, zucinni, yellow squash, green beans, and several types of herbs.
