Have You Seen These?

I wrote a blog post earlier in the week on shows from our time that has been forgotten and our children must watch. Weeeelllllll, I am on vacation in Alabama visiting family. My cousin, Isabell age 10, came to me with an idea. She stated that since I wrote a blog about shows children must watch, it is only right that I write a blog about children’s movies that Parents…

I cannot be the only one...who thinks the corporations that thought it was a good idea to make the day after Thanksgiving, the one day of the year that is synonymous with eating and drinking too much, the same day as the biggest shopping day of the year, are a group of evil masterminds. While thinking about these wicked geniuses I envisioned the consumer prepping for their Black Friday, I imagined it went something like this:…

The Real Toy Story

It's Friday the Thirteenth.  Only seems appropriate to blog today about something creepy.  How about your child's creepiest toy?

There really isn't anything that can make a horror movie freakier than having a traditional children's toy turn into some kind of demonic character. You could look at the other side of it all as in Toy Story where the toys actually come to life when 'people' aren't around.  I remember being woken up in the middle of the night less than a year ago by one of…

Rescue Her On Feature Friday

A couple of weeks ago while blog hopping I found a blog post that really touched me. In Arizona you hear a lot about human trafficking and its a very scary ordeal, while human trafficking is primarily smuggling mexicans across the border, it goes both ways. Along with drug cartels, human trafficking in and out of mexico is 90 percent under aged girls. A good majority of these girls are even under the age of 10. Being a victim of sexual abuse I have a hole in my heart for any child who suffers… Continue
