I just got back from a very fast trip to Singapore, with a one day stopover in Bangkok. I have to say that Bangkok is absolutely one of my favorite places in the world! Amazing food, incredible massages and the nicest people in the world!
One of our favorite massage parlors in Bangkok, is Lek Foot Massage,
. They are located right across from the Novotel Hotel and Siam Paragon Shopping Center. I discovered this place a few years… Continue

Although I am still in beautiful Singapore with my Daughter “the Gymnast” and “My Rock”, I thought I should communicate with you prior to my return.
First, Singapore is beautiful and we are having an amazing time. I am so blessed that I can travel and take my children with me. We have decided that we will take each child on their own trip– so this was Gymnasts trip. My other two children also had their “on their own trips” It is a whole other world… Continue

I'm always looking for that place I can go to feel supported, cared for and happy. Who doesn't want that? But I work from home. I live in a town that is not very accepting of outsiders. I've only lived in KY for 4 years. I don't know many people and don't have a lot of friends here. I have friends back in my home state of California, but they are very far away and very busy.
So I thought I'd take up a quest to find a group of supportive friends online. Thinking about what kind of… Continue

When someone does something for you so amazing, how do you say thank you? How can you possibly use two words that have become so over used in today's society, when it means so much more than just a simple thank you.
I am very grateful for the friendships that I have in life. Only because I don't honestly have that many. I have people who I talk to and would go have supper with now and then, but true friendships, I can literally count on the… Continue

I have been on a great mission to find unique bloggers to review and help their readers find my book. I have been receiving tons of emails and I have been following all the bloggers I meet on Twitter. Wow! Moms with blogs and Dads too, are amazing. They have such a voice. Not only with their kids, but with other Moms, Dads and anyone else they want to reach.
I have decided every blogger is my friend. And as friends, I hope to add to the blogosphere. I am embracing all aspects of it,… Continue

Author Kelly Corrigan wrote this moving essay about women's remarkable capacity to support each other, to laugh together, and to endure. This actually brought me to tears and makes me feel so proud of my gender. I also feel sorry for the men in our lives because they miss out on so much by not having this kind of support system. If you haven't seen this before please take the time to watch it now. Women are truly special and I raised 3 great ones, this is for them. I only wish I had written it.… Continue

What NOT to do while waiting in the car circle at school.
Picture it, I am in line waiting to move every inch or two by the minute. To ease my troubled 3 year old, I say "Oh Hey! Guess who is behind us? Your friend Oliva and her mommy is in the car behind us!"
- My little Sophia is strapped tightly in her car seat and immediately RAGES into pure excitement and tries to contort her tiny body to get out of the restrainsts to see her friend car behind us.

My name is Liz Bondar and I live in Oviedo, Florida. I am a Senior Regional Sales Director with AmeriPlan® and a Stay-At-Home Mom. My husband and I have two children who are beautiful miracles of God. Before I started working with Ameriplan® I was not really looking to work from home. I was actually already doing bookkeeping from home for my father's retail business and a doctor's office, and selling products for a home based company on the side for extra income (so I thought). However, I was… Continue

At first glance, these two words don't fit together. They appear to be an oxymoron. How can cancer, something so horrible and devastating, be paired with such a lovely word as blessing? How can a word that brings on the feeling of mire and darkness sit next to a word of hope and light?
I would say that they do fit together. I know my sister Amy would.
Amy and I have been in almost daily contact since her diagnosis. Many of the days have… Continue

Hi, thought I would start off telling you a little about me.
I am happily married with 4 grown boys and a beautiful grand daughter.
I work outside the home in a Emergency room, collections and insurance verification.
I also work inside the home with two different companies.
I am a candleholic, I love all candles, all shapes and sizes. I should have been an aromatherapist. I believe that every scent has a purpose and every nose has a lifetime memory.

It's a beautiful Sunday here in Northern California and we're preparing to go to church. I have three ladies who want to visit my church for the first time and I get to be their ride. In Sunday School I'll be interpreting for the deaf and then in the main church hour as well. Tonight I get to watch as two of my deaf friends receive their certificate of completion in our discipleship program. I have had the honor of teaching them for 6 weeks and have… Continue
