When starting my research for this week's topic, I came across this BRILLIANT advice from the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons posted under "Preventing Back Pain: Tips for New Moms" and I quote:

I'm hesitant to feed my family genetically engineered food (GMO), and now I have even more reason to avoid that kind of food engineered in a lab, some of it containing built-in pesticides like Roundup.
Now to today’s big news: Massive mammary tumors, kidney and liver damage, and other serious problems were found in rats that were fed GMO foods according to the…Continue

As part of the final exercise for my coaching certification, we had to give feedback to each of our fellow students on which behavior/s each of us exhibited that really stood out during our eight months together. I thought it was a great way to see how people viewed me and was excited to hear the comments…after all this has been a very introspective process.
The one remark that I haven’t…Continue

While talking to a few Mom friends we got on the topic of the deal a day sites and come to find out many of them used them frequently and loved the deals they were receiving. I have shopped Zulily a few times and was cool with the deal, but often I find that you have to get there quick for the hot deals because the do go quickly.Continue

I am 30 weeks along.
I have an 18-month old.
It seems the housework never ends.
My floor is sticky.
I can't bend over anymore to pick up all the toys scattered everywhere.
I have tons of translating work to do, and a worship list to arrange by Friday.

I've said it a million times. But here it goes again. My job description oftentimes feels like it must read: 50% SAHM duties /…

Recently, I was asked to think about the area in which I waste the most money. After much thought, I realized that the area of financial drain I struggle with the most isn't in buying too many shoes or buying a daily Starbucks (although I do love both new shoes and Starbucks). My area of waste is my kitchen. Specifically, my refrigerator.
I buy food I don't use, and it goes bad. Or, I don't have something planned for dinner, so I am more likely to fall into the temptation of…
