I love Quora. It's a really cool knowledge-sharing site. You register and build up your profile with topics of interest. Then you can apply your own experience and answer users' questions about said topics. As you build up your credibility on the site, people then come to you to answer their questions.

As a small business owner I was always challenged with finding new ways of reaching fellow handbag junkies who would buy my designs. I'm not a Facebook guru, by any stretch.
My fan page confuses the heck out of me, specifically why some posts get minimal reach whereas others get tremendous engagement...we're talking mind-blowing numbers. From little old me. =)

Okay, so about a week ago I wrote a post about email marketing techniques. Remember...I said I wanted to figure out a way to get people to actually open my newsletter? On my big BOOK LAUNCH DAY???
Well, here are the results of my efforts. Out of 229 recipients, 45.4% opened the email. That is a ROCKING number, folks!!!! The industry average, according to Mail Chimp, is 16.9%.
