An increasing number of women are joining the military, from recent high school graduates to young mothers. The military gives women an opportunity to serve their country, get an education, develop skills, and accrue benefits while earning a salary. If something amiss arises, infractions and other violations are governed by the UCMJ. It is important for women to have a general understanding of the UCMJ and what it means to them.
