Been a While... Let's Catch Up.

http://www.thepiggytoes.com/2013/02/07/been-a-while/

I’m alive.  and large.  and Pregnant.  Still.  I haven’t wrote in my blog recently because honestly, by the end of the night (my blogging/writing time) I’m spent and my brain stops functioning.  Literally.  It stops.  I’ve been a busy little bee around our nest though!  Some days I ‘forget’ that I have an extra X lbs attached to my…

Keeping Calm. And Quiet.

http://www.thepiggytoes.com/2013/01/23/keeping-calm-and-quiet/

Have you ever logged onto Facebook and felt like you could comment on just about everyone’s status update?

In a not so kind, bubbly or loving way?

Well, I guess you could say that I know I’ve reached that point in pregnancy where I need to keep quiet.  and calm.  and hold…

A Letter to my Son on his Birthday

http://www.thepiggytoes.com/2012/11/13/a-letter-to-my-son-on-his-birthday/

3 years ago today, our Roman was born.  I woke early and felt great but I was nervous about what was to come.  I can remember thinking about how crazy it was that I felt so good and in just a few short hours, I would be in a lot of pain.  Repeat C-Section.  I bent over and touched my toes, twisted…

To my boys,

Dear Roman,

I love you my sweet boy and I love your love for me.  I love that your obsessed with your mommy and hold on tight to my leg when I’m leaving you at pre-school.  I love that you need to kiss me 893 times before I go and if you miss that one spot on my cheek or my forehead, you will cry and cry until you get to it.  Today, we waved goodbye from the pre-school window and your…

Bring it On, 18 weeks!

I ate lunch in Brian’s car today by myself… with the windows down and K-Love blasting.  The boys spent time working in the yard and I went to Jersey Mikes for a turkey & cheese sandwich (don’t tell me any lunch meat rules).  I had a crisp, cold pickle on the side & I loved it.  I only fed myself.  No one talked to me.  No one asked me for…
