Years ago I kept a day planner. One of those fancy loose-leaf books with a calendar, to do list, planning sheets and a section for contacts. I liked my day planner. Each morning I would review my calendar and to do list to see what was going on that day. Each afternoon I would carefully move items from one day to another according to the day's events. One of the joys of, well, all of my pregnancies is that I organize and re-organize everything. Tell me you’re the same way, yes? During my last ‘nesting session’, I hit the toy room, purged lots of toys and re-organized everything. My head was spinning with options as to what to do with all of their toys and…Continue

Organizing your home can be a challenge, but well worth the effort. Organizing can keep your space free from clutter and mess. When everything has a home it won’t collect on the countertops and dressers or in the corner. To have an organized home is to have a clean home. It is simple and easy to keep it clean once you organize.

So, my Tupperware Business has really taken off, much to my surprise. I went from having no parties for 3 months to being booked for the month of October and having people contact ME about hosting parties. I'm thrilled! I'm also a little bit overwhelmed by the additional time needed to run a business.
I'm loving my date book right now, I'd be absolutely lost without it. …

It’s almost impossible to escape the fact that it’s back to school time again. Nowadays the ads for new clothes and school supplies seem to begin at the Fourth of July.

As summer finally begins to make itself known around here (I know, everyone else is experiencing record highs, right?), last week I found myself feeling outsmarted again by our stuff.
"OK, everyone outside."
"Wait, where's your hat?"
"Do you have sunblock on yet?"
"I don't know. Where IS the sunblock?"

Living surrounded by testosterone leaves a lot to be desired. Even both of our dogs are male. Shawn once joked that I should put the lid back up on the toilet when I'm done. (Democracy.)

If, like me, you are counting the days 'til Summer holidays take a hike, then you are also getting ready for the back to school madness that, somehow clings to my, almost 11, step-daughter, and probably, most children this age!
This whole back to school madness, with missed lunches, dog ate…
