Moving House

So we finally bit the bullet and are moving house. The thought of it is overwhelming – so much crap to be sorted, packed or purged. With six kids, I know you can imagine just how much crap we’re talking here. Adding further stress is the prospect of making our current house look nice enough that some other family will want to buy it.

Getting our house sale-ready will be a big job. My kids have left their marks – on the… Continue

I'm a Mother Lover, You're a Mother Lover

Please tell me someone saw SNL last night with Justin Timberlake and Andy Sandberg. Absolutely hilarious.

Happy Mother's Day to all my Mommy friends out there! Hope you are all enjoying a wonderful day with your family. I am having a great Mother's Day just relaxing at home. I got to sleep in a little today and tonight we are just grilling which means minimal cooking for me. Yeah!

Stress-Free Strategy #11

el reloj del Conejo Blanco - White Rabbit´s clock

When you have an appointment or firm commitment, allot 15 extra minutes to get where you need to be.

Traffic snarls and unexpected events happen all the time. Don't let them throw off your plans and cause unnecessary stress.

If you're traveling by air, plan to arrive at the airport one hour before domestic departures.

And ALWAYS carry reading material...if you spend… Continue

Stress Free Strategy-Week 10

Day 27 :: Some days

Stop pulling your hair out!

Don’t put up with things that don’t work right.

If not, get rid of it.

First, identify and make a list of life's little annoyances that continue to cause you aggravation. Write down things like the light bulb that blew out on the front porch, broken shoelaces, an alarm clock that isn't reliable,… Continue

Making Resolutions a Reality

One year I was fed up with making resolutions and not seeing them through, so I renamed them goals. Which, of course, is what they are, but I was disguising them as something else thinking that I might be able to actually accomplish something by renaming them.

Trying something new...

So, I have had an organization problem, lately. Some areas are completely organized, everything in it's place, others halfway, and then there are those where I don't even know what is going on. My goal is to take one small part of one thing each day this week and work on it. So send your prayers and good thoughts my way as I start today. Lots of Love, Jami
