Valentine's Victoria Sponge Mini Heart Cakes

I have a thing about cream cakes. They're a huge weakness of mine, like Kryptonite to Superman, but instead of dying, they make you happy. Well, that is until you realise you ate one too many and have to bust out the fatty pants (jogging bottoms)!

But who cares? I mean, fatty pants…

Thinking Pink: Helmet Required

Adorned in pink, football fans gathered at the Rogers Centre on October 14, 2012 for the CFL’s second annual Pink Game in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. With only five games remaining, the Toronto Argonauts took on their rivals the Montreal Allouettes in an exciting game that had players and fans thinking about more than just football.

As the fight for the ball got underway fans were reminded not only of the struggle unfolding on the field, but of the battles fought…

My new book, Pink is Just a Color and so is Blue will be available on Amazon in 2 weeks.

Pink is Just a Color and so is Blue is inspired by my 2 boys.  I once heard my older son telling my younger one that he was “like a girl” because he liked the color pink and enjoyed playing with toys that some people might…

The difference between 9 and 10

My daughter turned 9 last week. This is the child who lives and breathes all things pink and all things Barbie.

As I decorated the house for her upcoming birthday party, she came up to me and announced that she had something very important to tell me. I stopped taping pink and purple balloons to the fireplace and sat down to listen to her. Baby Cinderella

Once upon a time,

not so long ago,

a little Roman princess was born in a small family with two dogs and a lot closets full of high heels shoes.

She was kind of happy when she found out that her brand new family was a real mess.

They had a lot to learn about her.

So did she about them, anyway.

Give a Little "PINK" to Children's Hospital this Holiday Season!

ParentingPink.com has teamed with Children’s National Medical Center in Washington DC to bring ill little girls some “pink” this holiday season. We are collecting and distributing pink (we’ll take other colors too!) items such as toys, electronics, books, games, and clothing to girls ages 0-18 who will be spending the holidays in the hospital. It’s our way of helping to spread the “girl-power” and love that all girls – healthy and suffering… Continue
