No Filter

We all know that kids really don't have any kind of a filter when it comes to speaking their minds.  The thoughts just tumble out of their mouths like the trash rolls out of my purse when it falls over.  They don't mean to hurt your feelings -- they just call it like they see it.  For example, when they say I have a…

Polyvinyl chloride is one of those materials used for its durability and cost effectiveness.  It’s also very low maintenance and can be made softer and more bendable.  PVC is now a popular choice for outdoor furniture, upholstery and even clothing.

When I was growing up, if I didn’t have a Barbie in my hand, I had a book. Yes, I was that kid. It started with an encyclopedia…

Drugs, Theft, and Bad Things Little Girls Do

I’ve already confessed to forgery. But I’ve done other hard crimes too.

It’s no secret to anyone who knows me or reads this blog that Barbies were an important part of my childhood. Not in a BFF kind of way, but more in a drug addict kind of…

Another Free Tutorial

In opening my new store on Etsy (MooseandWormy), I decided that I would give away all my designs for free on my blog. I am a firm believer in free crafting. Most of us have more skills than cash, and it seems dumb that we all have to reinvent the wheel every time we try to make something new. Silly. So, I give away all my designs for free.… Continue

Back where you belong

I want my boobs back.

I have been either pregnant or nursing my entire marriage--a little more than seven years. My youngest is 28 months old and she's still going strong.

My friends always told me that most babies will quit nursing on their own--lose interest, usually between nine and 16 months. My kids apparently missed that section in their handbooks. I think my oldest would still be nursing if we hadn't had to put the kibosh on it when I was pregnant with my second… Continue
