Please Brand Me Now!!!

Branding.

Argh.  Sooo challenging...and so permanent.  It needs to be just right.

Identifying your "brand" is kind of like going to college, where the goal is trying to figure out what you want to do with the rest of your life.  But at eighteen, who really knows THAT?

You have to pick a major but what are the odds that in a few years you'll even be interested in pursuing a career in the field?  Your scope of interests expands, you identify and refine your skill sets, you…

Things I've Learned This Week

** Hurricane Sandy gave a whole new meaning to the term “shit storm”.

** Governor Chris Christie was surely a bulldog in another life.

** You pretty much have to turn tricks to be able to afford all those Halloween treats.

** It’s hard to know whether to laugh or feel sorry for a dog trying to take a dump in a sheriff’s…

It is with great pleasure I introduce Dr. Allen Malnak. Below is some background information on Dr. Malnak. After learning about him I was compelled to conduct an interview to find out more about his amazing book.

I'm Black, You're White...So What?

http://crikeymum.blogspot.com/2010/09/im-white-youre-black-so-what.html

I am so fed up and frustrated with the political correctness that hovers over this country like a dark cloud, dictating and distorting honest human behavior!

Before I moved to the USA, a white man was a white man, a black man was a black man, due to the simple obvious fact, that by looking at him, that was the color… Continue

Stupid Politics!

Yep,

You heard me say it. Politics these days are stupid and the more we get closer to voting day the more these stupid TV ads get well....even stupider. Does it every remind you of the high school blame game and the rumors written on bathroom walls? Political ads these days are all about how you can make your opponent look bad. I have yet to see 1 add where a political candidate simply states what they will do for you without bashing their opponent in the process.

Heck… Continue

Political Campaigns of multimillionaire candidates

Does it feel strange to anyone else that there are multimillionaire political candidates spending huge sums of their own money promoting themselves? Doesn't it seem wrong to be able to "buy" a political office? Wouldn't all the money they're spending on their tv ads garner them more attention if they used it to enhance education, homelessness, and the hungry in their respective states? I just don't get it. Why should we have to watch and listen to them over and over again on tv for months,… Continue

Christian Protests that Produce Ungodly Behavior

Middle Tennessee is part of what is known as the Bible Belt. A church on every corner is how we are depicted. For every church, there are five associate ministers waiting to hear “the call” to start their own church or begging God that main preacher will allow them to preach one Sunday. We have several national Christian organizations that are headquartered in Nashville: the Southern Baptist Convention, the National Baptist Convention, and the General Board of…

Presidential Political Blogs Are a Big Distraction

Yesterday from 8:00 am until 3:45 pm I read political blog post after blog post from Hang Right Politics to the Huffington Post. I don't favor or prefer the stuffy conservative blogs or the angry liberal blogs, I just understand that there is a certain percentage of people in each party that can only see black or white (no pun intended). The blogs are, however, very addicting. Why just yesterday, I read the whole charter for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, discovered there is a large group called… Continue
