For the entire month of August, I just didn't let myself think about it beyond the facts.
For the last two weeks, I just focused on anything else that took my mind off of it.
Over the weekend I was busy getting things ready, so I was too busy to think about it.

It was another one of those nights when I couldn’t sleep. By 2am, one kid had woken up once, another twice, and I was wide awake from my efforts to get everyone back to sleep again. So, as I usually do, I

Last night I spent some time in the company of some amazing women. All mothers, all with school age kids under the age of 10, all of whom “get it”.
About a month ago, a friend and I had the idea to start a small support group. The original idea was for mothers or fathers of kids who are on the spectrum, and with the help of the school district, we
reached out to parents to see if anyone wanted to meet, just to talk.
