Dazzling Smile by Crest 3D White

I cannot be the only one....who has noticed that Southern California is the land of perfect and sparkling white teeth. The drop off at my son's school is full of moms carrying Starbucks coffee, stomping around in hundred dollar (or more) Ugg boots, and setting a fabulous dental standard. My hour glass of time is perpetually half empty leaving me unable to spend much time worrying about my own smile brightness, so I decided to find a great whitening toothpaste and the good news is, I found…

I finally tried Bulu Box, check out my thoughts on the September box...

A few weeks ago, one of the Living Social deals posted was of a three month subscription to Bulu Box for $10. I went to their website and saw that Bulu Box is a product sampling company similar to the Bestowed box I tried earlier this year, but with a focus on weight loss. Weight loss is the whole purpose of me exercising, so I figured I'd try it. I couldn't wait for the box to arrive!

According to their web site:

"Bulu Box is the first health, nutrition and weight…

A Storm in Memphis by Hero Jenkins

Technology has made reading books easier for me.  I love reading new books and I love being able to read books on my smartphone using an e-reader app.  I love being able to read while laying in bed or on the go.  I was approached by Hero Jenkins about a month ago and I was asked if I would be interested in reviewing “A Storm in Memphis.”  I was excited for this…

Black Night by S.J. Strayhorn

I haven’t been reading books as quickly as I was a few months ago.  I have several books in my pile, that I am slowly reading.  I wish I had more time to read but things have been crazy around my house over the last few weeks.  The kids will be heading back to school in less than a mouth and I hope that I can get back into my normal routine.  I love having…

The Reading Kingdom Review

My oldest child is seven. He currently reads on a third grade level, but his lack of interest or motivation affects his ability to understand what he reads sometimes. Maybe I push him too hard....strong maybe! He absolutely loves playing games on the computer which works out fine for me, because we have two computers in the office. So, while I'm doing work or blogging, he is on his dad's computer right across from…

Book Review: Snow Escape by Roberta Goodman

I am finished reading another great book called “Snow Escape” by Roberta Goodman.  I have been following her on twitter for a few weeks and I had seen several posts regarding her book.  I sent her a message on Twitter and asked her if I could review her book.  She said, “that she would be honored if I reviewed her book.” This book is full of twists and turns, leaving you wondering where the author is going to lead each of the characters…

The Fast Metabolism Diet Book Review

The Fast Metabolism Diet Book by Haylie Pomroy arrived at my doorstep on April 23rd, and I spent a day trying to figure out which one of my family members thought I was so fat they needed to send me a diet book. It wasn't until I was checking emails this morning that I realized this book actual arrived courtesy of SheSpeaks, for me to review. I read the front, then the back. Everything looked good so far, then I opened up the…

Book Review: Discovering You by Melissa Kean

“Discovering You” is an excellent read and I highly recommend it.  The book is a bit longer than most books and it is divided into three sections.  Once I started reading this book, I could hardly put it down.  It was full of twists and turns which kept the book interesting in its entirety.  The book took place during the winter of 1812 in Southern England in an area called Daleford Manor.  As the book begins, you will learn about Nicholas Davenport and his late wife, Marie, lived at…

Book Review: Just Beneath The Surface By R.H. Ramsey

I just finished reading “Just Beneath the Surface” by R. H. Ramsey.  This book is rated for a mature audience and shouldn’t be read by someone under the age of 18 due to the graphic nature of this book.  This book was full of twists and turns and there was never a dull moment. This book is filled with suspense, drama, and action that will leave you wanting to read more.

I want to thank Rhonda for giving me the opportunity to review her book.  While this is a fiction…

Book Review: Long Time Coming By Edie Clarie

I have been reading quite frequently these days and wanted to share another great book with my followers.  I downloaded “Long Time Coming” by Edie Claire on e-book and I loved this book from the very start.  Joy decides to return to her hometown of Wharton when her father’s illness forces her to return.  She left the town of Wharton over 18 years ago, shortly after her best friend Jenny was killed in a horrific car accident just a few days after senior prom.  After graduation, Joy high…

My Pregnancy Today iPhone and Android App Review – My Favorite Pregnancy App

When I found out that I was pregnant with my third child, I immediately went to baby center to calculate my estimated due date.  Once I found out the estimated due date, I signed up for an account so that I could keep up with my baby’s weekly development.  At the time I had an iPhone, so I downloaded the baby center application called “My Pregnancy Today”.

Book Review: Love, Charleston by Beth Webb Hart

I picked up “Love, Charleston” by Beth Webb Hart at book store closing event almost  two years ago.  I finally was able to get a chance to read this book a few weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed it.  It started out kinda slow in the first chapter but after the first chapter, I was hooked.  After reading the book, I understood why the first chapter was a bit slower than the rest of the book.  The first chapter explained the history of Pastor and Widower Roy Summerall.  It explained why he…
