My life has changed!

No, really.  I am so excited to tell you about this new cleaning system and trust me, there’s not much that has to do with cleaning that excites me.  But this, my friends, this has to be shared with mamas everywhere!  It’s called the…

Book Review: Discovering You by Melissa Kean

“Discovering You” is an excellent read and I highly recommend it.  The book is a bit longer than most books and it is divided into three sections.  Once I started reading this book, I could hardly put it down.  It was full of twists and turns which kept the book interesting in its entirety.  The book took place during the winter of 1812 in Southern England in an area called Daleford Manor.  As the book begins, you will learn about Nicholas Davenport and his late wife, Marie, lived at…

Book Review: Just Beneath The Surface By R.H. Ramsey

I just finished reading “Just Beneath the Surface” by R. H. Ramsey.  This book is rated for a mature audience and shouldn’t be read by someone under the age of 18 due to the graphic nature of this book.  This book was full of twists and turns and there was never a dull moment. This book is filled with suspense, drama, and action that will leave you wanting to read more.

I want to thank Rhonda for giving me the opportunity to review her book.  While this is a fiction…

Book Review: Long Time Coming By Edie Clarie

I have been reading quite frequently these days and wanted to share another great book with my followers.  I downloaded “Long Time Coming” by Edie Claire on e-book and I loved this book from the very start.  Joy decides to return to her hometown of Wharton when her father’s illness forces her to return.  She left the town of Wharton over 18 years ago, shortly after her best friend Jenny was killed in a horrific car accident just a few days after senior prom.  After graduation, Joy high…

My Pregnancy Today iPhone and Android App Review – My Favorite Pregnancy App

When I found out that I was pregnant with my third child, I immediately went to baby center to calculate my estimated due date.  Once I found out the estimated due date, I signed up for an account so that I could keep up with my baby’s weekly development.  At the time I had an iPhone, so I downloaded the baby center application called “My Pregnancy Today”.

Learn more about the app at Uplifting Families.

Book Review: Love, Charleston by Beth Webb Hart

I picked up “Love, Charleston” by Beth Webb Hart at book store closing event almost  two years ago.  I finally was able to get a chance to read this book a few weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed it.  It started out kinda slow in the first chapter but after the first chapter, I was hooked.  After reading the book, I understood why the first chapter was a bit slower than the rest of the book.  The first chapter explained the history of Pastor and Widower Roy Summerall.  It explained why he…

Book Review: Front Page Fatality by LynDee Walker

If you like a good book that leaves you hanging on by the seat of your pants, I recommend that you read “Front Page Fatality” starring Nichelle Clarke.  Nichelle Clarke works for the local newspaper in Richmond, Virginia as a crime reporter.  Nichelle loves wearing high heal shoes and sometimes finds herself in places that heels aren’t appropriate.  However, during the course of the story her high heel shoes become her saving grace when she finds herself in a less than ideal…

Review of "What Daddy Bear Loves" and DaddyBear by Daddy Scrubs

Seriously, how cute is this teddy bear DaddyBear? I was actually expecting a delivery of my son's second LeapPad. Upset that I was guilted into buying another one, I didn't even bother reading the Fedex label. I figured, since the box is small, it had to be my ebay purchase, but was the most adorable little teddy bear I have ever seen and an equally adorable hard cover book from Daddy Scrubs!

As soon as I opened the box and saw the bear, my first thought was "this is so…

Reviewing Racier Books

So I love to read and I'm pretty open minded when it comes to what I read. I've read all kinds of books but never was approached to read a bdsm book with male on male umm action?

So I took a while and said, well its still a book and I'm sure there could be a great story behind it. I went ahead and pushed that download button and got to reading. I have to say I've read a racy, heated romance but this was just so in my face. It was from the first page bam right there guy on guy…

The Night I (Almost) Broke Up With Prince

For as long as I can possibly remember, I have absolutely LOVED Prince.  Even way, way back in elementary school, my best friend and I would hole up in her room and blast songs that we knew were completely inappropriate for our innocent, young eardrums.  I begged and I pleaded with my mom to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me see him in concert but was told…
