Today was the day for my girls to return to school. I now have a 7th grader and a 4th grader.

Yes I'm happy to be back into the routine of a some-what quieter day (and I'm happy that I get the computer to myself!), but I'm also sad that they aren't here. That they are growing up... growing up so fast! 7th grade?! How in the heck did my oldest reach 7th grade already?!?

*heavy sigh*

It's mothers day. I woke up early at about 7am, and couldn't go back to sleep. Jude woke up right after me so I fed him, and then we lay in bed while he stared at me and smiled. It was a nice beginning to the day. Jude, and I stayed up together for about two hours while Mike slept......yeah yeah he slept on mothers day...ha. Over the past 2-3 months my pants have slowly grown tighter. I step on the scale and I see my numbers go up. I am helpless when it comes to the holidays. It's the food. My god the delicious, wonderful, butter filled, sugar coated, fat saturated, food. I love it all.
