“Summer romances begin for all kinds of reasons, but when all is said and done, they have one thing in common. They're shooting stars, a spectacular moment of light in the heavens, fleeting glimpse of eternity, and in a flash they're…Continue

Sun Tan is unavoidable thing when you want to enjoy beaches and open park. For kids you can not apply the intense sunscreen lotion. Also these chemicals can be harsh on your skin over a regular use.
There are less known natural ingredients which work best for sun tan removal.
1. Fuller's Earth: Its a clay like material rich with minerals. Works like wonders on all your skin problems like acne, wrinkles, pimples, dark patches and sun tan. Its earthly smell is…Continue

When my doctor first diagnosed me with a vitamin D deficiency, he told me to go out into the sunlight more often. That advice sounded great in theory, but it wasn't realistic. I asked him when I was supposed to do that during my day. At my 5 am run, the sun isn't up yet. I work all day - even through my lunch time. I am in a lot of meetings and can't wander too far from my desk phone. When I get home, I make dinner and help get my son…Continue

There is no feeling quite like the sun warming your face on that very first summer day. It reminds us of picnics, bar-b-ques, and time with friends and family at a beach or lake. But, while you’re enjoying the great outdoors, the sun is causing damage to your skin.
We all know that overexposure…Continue

As school is letting out for the summer, many parents begin planning activities to keep their child busy over the summer. As a working mom, your child may go to daycare. If your daycare is similar to the one my kids attended, they go on field trips throughout the summer to keep the school aged children busy. If you don’t have a bottle of sunscreen…Continue

The sun is shining through the window next to me
I love sunshine. The warmth it provides, and the brightness are sure to lighten any mood! It's beauty reminds me of the light we are called to be in the world! It's brightness reminds me of the Son shining in my heart and my life!
While my head and nose are stuffy, and a cough seems to be making an appearance, the sun shining lightens my spirits and encourages me to get up and moving throughout the day!
A day at the water…Continue
It’s mid-July and it’s getting painfully obvious that, by now, I will not manage to get sun-kissed color on my depressingly white body through normal outdoor activities. I have not had the time – nor the desire – to sit in the sun the get that natural glow. I’m going to have to fake it. And by fake, I mean a “natural”, with natural sunless tanners.
As most of you, I have become acutely aware of the toxic chemicals abundantly present in our…

A few weeks ago I picked up this big floppy hat at a small accessories store by my house, best part is that it only cost me $5.00!

Last weekend, we got invited out of the city.
We went to some friends’ country house right in the middle of Umbria.
Umbria is a lovely region close to Tuscany; only one and a half hour away from Rome.
It was a very difficult decision to make…

This week, I’m thankful I can now say, “Good bye, Schmorl’s Node!” Although I know that each node is still actually there in my back, at least they’re no longer inflamed and making life uncomfortable. Who would’ve thought that adjusting from cup size C to cup size H when Glenn arrived could cause back pain?!
Thankful for my…Continue
