Free summer activity - A Day at the Beach

If you live near the water or the beach you can save money this summer with a day at the beach. Check out this list of the top must have items for any day trip to the beach. Remember, you don’t need to pack your whole summer wardrobe and all the water accessories if you’re only going to be at the beach for less than 12 hours. Tredding the Waters with My AquaTot

This summer, I'm taking another round of "swimming" classes with my toddler. For her, it's a way to get comfortable in the water; I know she will not master the art of the backstroke but she will learn to float on her back.

But for me, it's a lesson on what not to wear, what to bring and what to really do in the water with my tot! (Yes moms and dads, if you want your child to blow bubbles in the pool then you too must insert face in water!)

Sunscreen Absolutely Necessary

School is out and all of my kids (nieces and nephew) came to visit. It is my job as an aunt to keep everyone entertained. From 5 years old to 11 years old, what a mess! Since they come and all want to do a collection of things I have decided to set up stations at the house.
