Many parents ask me how they know when it is the right time to move their little one from the crib to a toddler bed. Unfortunately the answer is going to be different for everyone because every child is different. The good news is that you will figure it out.
Any new stage and transition in your child’s life is difficult (for you both), but in time, it all settles in and makes perfect sense. As always, Mommy Masters is here to support you and…Continue
There are many words that can be used to describe motherhood but today, my pick is “unpredictable“. What you think is a day planned one way can turn into a whole other day in the snap of a finger. As a mom, you need to be able to quickly adjust and roll with the punches. This of course is no easy feat but it can be done.…

As a small business owner I was always challenged with finding new ways of reaching fellow handbag junkies who would buy my designs. At the end of the day, a lot of one-and-done customers didn't do much to sustain my rapidly shrinking market share.
After some research, I determined my…Continue

Being a mom is the hardest job in the world…everyone knows that! But combine the responsibilities of motherhood and entrepreneurialism? It’s a recipe to quickly becoming overworked, overstressed, and overextended. The toughest part of all is figuring out how to find the time to work on business while staying home…
The new year is here, which means it’s time to get motivated and get organized! Easier said than done, right? Well, I feel your pain. Having the kids home from school has left my house in shambles and very little time for myself or to get anything done around the house. If you ask your spouse to do something and it's not done yet, do it yourself. It's not worth the time and energy complaining or nagging to get the job done. Not doing the job because of the "principle of the thing" is a great way to put a crack in the bedrock of your marriage. This doesn't mean you have to be a doormat - just don't spend your time and energy on negative feelings, like stress or frustration that something isn't done. If you can't do it yourself without whining and…Continue

One way to save money is by eliminating or cutting down on dining out. My family of four has put a limit on dining out to once a week and even with that, we almost always use a gift card, a coupon, or dine at a place where kids eat free.
Where do the gift cards come from?
