This Week In Pictures...
(with linky)
It was a good week and J Myster has been showing his brother a lot of love this week. He even fed his brother from a bottle for the first time after a doctor's appointment I…

Welcome to another "This Week in Pictures", I realized that when I post these I should probably explain a few of them, so here goes...
The week Started out last weekend with J Myster getting another hair cut. We have to tame that mane of his. It gets scraggely sometimes.
But the exciting part of the week was my maternity and Baby B's photography pictures came in and even though these pictures were taken weeks and months ago, I just had to…

I absolutely love icloud! Didn't know I'd use it until I made my little photo collage earlier today with some pics I've taken through out the week and my ipad has a cool app that collages your recent photos. Well I saved the collage I made from pics I've done thru the week and they synced to my photo stream on my laptop and made doing this post soo much easier! So if you have pics to share from the week add them here. This is my week in pics...…

I'm no stranger to taking care of two or three kids at a time. In fact I've been doing it for almost three years. When I was running a home day care it was easy once all the kids got our day's routine down. But its entirely different with your own children. Other people's kids listen and act better than your own much of the time, but when you throw a colicky newborn and a rambunctious toddler in with errands to run, it spells disaster.…

If you have a toddler, you have no doubt experienced the terrible twos. The frustrating screams that make you want to punch a wall, or put your head thru a wall. For us the terrible twos seem to be fueled by all the things my toddler is trying to become a perfectionist on. Most of his terrible two tantrums are because he can't get his shoes on right, or he's trying hard to put a puzzle together meant for a 4 year old, but he just had to have because it was…

While you are pregnant especially in the third trimester you feel all sorts of aches and pains, especially if you are not used to carrying around so much weight. I on average stand 5 feet tall and weigh a whopping 98 pounds soaking wet. But pregnancy really can be hard on me especially in the third trimester where I really do feel like a beached whale and just maneuvering to get up off the couch sometimes looks like I'm a turtle on my back flailing my legs…

So last Sunday around 10am, Hunky Hubs, J myster and I headed out on the open road for our much needed vacation. Destination San Diego! Hunky Hubs thought about a month back that we should do something really nice, fun and relaxing for ourselves before the baby came because we really didn't know…

I remember as a child lying in my room with my covers up to my chin, just staring around at the darkness. I was afraid of the dark for a long long time. Not sure what prompted the monsters in the dark fear, but it was there and still to this day, if I watch a scary movie, my mind moves to the worst possible scenario when I'm turning out the lights for the night.
My son, two, hasn't ever been afraid of anything. Not a lot of toddlers are unless something tells them to be afraid. Many…

I love my son dearly. But sometimes I have to really really hold my breathe because he really really tries my patience. We all know toddler boys love to wrestle and be physically active. I get that and if this mom could do it at 5 months pregnant, I would, but now I have to teach my toddler son to be gentle around the baby bump. He's not really comprehending yet that there is a baby in there. Hunky Hubs and I talk about it and we've shown him pictures of mommy when she was pregnant with him and…

So while the rest of the world has been enjoying spring like weather, its taken a little longer for it to feel like spring here. Last Sunday my son was playing in snow in the backyard. Crazy for April huh? We got about a foot of snow. But this weekend it has been in the 60's and very nice weather!…

....Knock on wood. Actually J myster has the bug! Just when I feel like it will plague me, I suddenly feel better. Thursday afternoon, the little girl I watch just started throwing up. Thankfully her dad was on his way. I wasn't sure if it was a bug or possibly something she ate, until J started throwing up a half hour after we put him to bed. It turns out C and J got this little bug from the baby I watch. …

So as my son turns two this week, he decided to let mommy know what is ahead of me in the world of toddlerdum and well maybe "boydum" yep, that's a new word, going in my dictionary. You never hear of little girls putting rocks in their ears or shoving things up their nose right? That just doesn't happen with girls I don't think...…

Today I will be running around getting ready for J Myster's Second Birthday Party. It turns out that we may actually have around 15 people in our house, and I'm freaking out that I may not have enough seating...
I did not make J's cake. I'm not much of a baker, I'm more of a cook. But its Toy Story Themed and If I could have made it Thomas The Train Themed I would have, this Kid requests to watch "Thomas" all the time since we got him a Thomas the train set for Christmas. Maybe next…

So about 2 weeks ago, my son and his short little legs, finally made it up and over his crib railing. I was dreading the day this would happen because lets see my son is ornery just like me and he doesn't give up until he accomplishes something. Which sometimes includes many hours of frustrating screaming when he can't get his socks on. Well he is pro at putting most of his clothes on now and of course pro at getting out of his crib...

The hubs and I have
discussed argued over getting J's hair cut for awhile now. See my son was pretty much bald until about 9 months. Then he started getting this fine blond hair, but it was so fine it was more like fuzz and only curled when it was wet. He would wake up most mornings looking like…

*This is not written by me, a friend of mine posted this on facebook. Thought it would elicit a few laughs*

2. Arrange to have your salary paid directly to their head office.
3. Go home.
4. Pick up the paper.

My son has slowly collected stuffed animals he feels he needs in his
crib over the months. He never had attachment issues until we started
watching a little girl with a cute little froggy doll and a blanket with
tags all over it. He was so intrigued with her doll and blankie that I
had to find…
