My son is at the peak of his imagination game years - the years in which your best friend is the person who will pretend to be a Pokemon with you and then join into a fight with Bowser that is filled with explosions. (Side note: Children would make excellent improv artists, except that they have difficulty taking suggestions from outsiders.)…Continue

Check out the original post here, please and thank you XOXO
If you’ve noticed that I haven’t been writing much lately, it’s because I’ve been stuck in the same rut that I’ve been in for months; tired of moving, longing to feel settled, far from the goal. I don’t to keep rehashing the same old “how does a person deal with prolonged transition?!” dilemma, but that’s pretty much what’s on my mind as of late.(that and how to get…Continue

Many parents ask me how they know when it is the right time to move their little one from the crib to a toddler bed. Unfortunately the answer is going to be different for everyone because every child is different. The good news is that you will figure it out.
Any new stage and transition in your child’s life is difficult (for you both), but in time, it all settles in and makes perfect sense. As always, Mommy Masters is here to support you and…Continue
Today’s blog is a sensitive subject for me because it’s something that I had to walk out myself. I mentioned in one of my previous post that we lost 2 babies. I want to bring attention to this subject because I’m finding that many women suffer through this in silence feeling as if no one understands. After I lost the first…Continue

It doesn't feel like it’s been almost 4 years since I was divorced, but I do feel like I've come a long way. Working on remodeling my interior during my transition was outrageously more difficult than Eva 2.0—The Exterior.…Continue

Many parents wonder when is the perfect time to transition their baby from their crib into a toddler bed or regular bed. As a mom, I can’t give you a perfect answer because each child is different and is ready to move into a regular bed at different ages. You know your child best and can gauge when you…Continue

When I took my son to his 9 month old well baby check up, his doctor told me that she wanted to make sure that he was off the bottle around his first birthday. I really didn’t think this was going to be possible to wean him from the bottle by the time he was a year old but it was easier than I expected it to…Continue

A couple months ago, I have finally started living the role that I thought would not be playing so soon – a full time staying-at-home-wife (and soon-to-be Mom, for the time being). I knew that this phase will eventually happen to me but I thought it would come much later.
Cool first-day duds
Well, here we are, finishing up our 3rd week of kindergarten. What? This is the first time I have mentioned kindergarten? It has been so smooth and so far without incident but I have…Continue

I'm not exactly admitting defeat on the whole crib-to-bed transition thing. It really is for my child's safety. Ok, and maybe a little for my sleep and my morning work outs.
Buddha started off so well, but once he figured out he could actually get out of his bed (only 4 days later) I couldn't get him to stay in. So, that led to me having to stay in his room with him until he fell asleep. While he used to self-soothe and fall asleep so quickly in his crib, I think he…Continue
