Now that all the mega-lottery winners have stepped forward, the overwhelming odds are you didn't win. Americans spent $1.5 billion in their quest to win the jackpot, fantasizing about how they would happily spend the $656 million to be paid out to the winner. As it happened, there were three winning tickets so the final after-tax take home for each will be about $100 million. Still, nothing to sneeze at.

In some ways, I hope my son is just like me. In most ways, I hope he isn’t.
I was an ok kid who liked to run around naked. Front yard nudity is quite harmless when white-tailed deer and turkeys are the only ones to see it. It is, however, a little embarrassing when family friends remember you for it.

All this week,
the National Writers for Children Center
is hosting a Virtual Book Tour for my mid-grade adventure,
Taconi and Claude - Double Trouble.
So again I went a couple of days without blogging, but this time I had a better reason than I was just busy with other stuff.
I accidentally knocked my husband's laptop off the couch and broke the screen. UGH, I felt terrible. Luckily for me, or us, it was still under warranty. So he wasn't too mad at me. Actually he wasn't mad at all. I have a great husband everyone. The best.
He took it to Best Buy today and was told it would take probably 2-3 weeks till we got it…

I’m pulling my hair out. Literally.
I’ve reached the postpartum stage where a woman’s hair begins to fall out. Yay. If you know me, you’d know that I cannot stand loose hair. It disgusts me. I’m not quite sure why, but I just know it’s not for me. I’m the friend who will pick loose hairs off of the back of your shirt.
