** If a day ever went by where a kid HADN'T peed on a toilet seat here, I'd swear I was in the wrong house.
** I seriously could not be more unorganized.

One of you asked whether I am considering remarriage... the answer is 100% a No, a NO.. and A NO..
One marriage is enough, two times will too much....... ooopsss...sorry, I am speaking for myself only... no offence to anyone...
On the serious note, once upon a time, I did think about it, when my kids were pretty
and young, friends and relatives alike, they encouraged me to get into marriage again... but on the other hand, some jested about "now that…

I have a new craving this fall. It’s hitting me hard. I’ll need to satisfy it soon…It’s for a desert boot, with updated styling à la 2011.
FYI, the Desert Boot is now 62 years young. This enduring style with the crepe sole has many fans. My sister and I were among some of the early fans. I remember us both sporting a pair of the “originals” (but we didn’t need to call them that back then…) as little girls and feeling very cool in a tomboyish and powerful sort of way.
And now is…Continue

I am a pen addict. I love pens of all kinds. Ball point, ink roller, glitter, fountain, colored, black, blue, fancy, cheap, and even markers, too. Each year (okay, a few times each year), I buy a new set of multi-colored pens or Sharpie markers to color-code my calendars, lists, and my life. My husband teases me, but accepts that he has an easy out anytime he needs a small gift to give me.
I was beyond excited when I recently found a multi-colored five…Continue

We love to support companies that do great work here and abroad. By now, we are all now quite familiar with (and wearing) Toms Shoes and we love the great work the company does around the world (Did you know that Toms does eyewear now, under the same One-for-One principle). In fact, we…Continue

I am a typical female. I hear 95% of everything anyone says, I process it in my chaotic, busy brain, I store it in the appropriate compartment or break it down into lists, all the while talking a mile a minute and carrying on a witty conversation.
It’s how my brain works. It’s how most women’s brains work.

In the fifth month of my midlife crisis, I went on a retreat to a health spa – alone – to get motivated to take better care of my middle-aged self. It was a wonderful luxury to focus on what I needed for a change, as opposed to worrying about everyone else in my family. In addition to working out and eating healthy spa cuisine, I learned a simple…Continue

Know the great thing about getting older? No? Well, me neither! There's certainly not a whole lot that I find entertaining about the wrinkles, the aches and pains, the eye baggage, the gray hairs, the sleeplessness, and worst of all, the damn hot flashes! Seriously, is this the kind of thanks we get for shooting the future of America out of our uterus way back…Continue

Welcome to the first installment of "All Kinds of Wrong" on the Multiple Mayhem Mamma blog.
You may have surmised by now that I'm somewhat sarcastic and have low tolerance for nonsense. As well, I have a penchant for all things referencing to the past, my youth and prior as well.
The combination of these two facts has resulted in something that I've wanted to do for a long time: analyze vintage television. Commercials and TV shows from bygone eras have both…

The dictionary defines guilt as “a feeling of responsibility or remorse for some offense, crime, or wrong, whether real or imagined.” Real or imagined, that sounds about right. Might even be more accurate, at least helpful, if they added a footnote, “Warning: Duration of guilt known to last several years. Atonement not guaranteed.” Now that’s the kind of guilt I know. Come to think of it, I didn’t know there was another kind.
It’s taken me a while, but I’m fairly proud of…Continue
