So sometimes being a primarily 1 income family is rough. It really is. I do make an income from watching children. I adore these kids. They are so fun to be with. I have been the care taker for one boy since he was 12 weeks old and he's almost the same age as my son who is 18 months old. You get attached to their little faces and their little antics.

So last night for the first time in like 8 years I was apart of a church small group. It felt very familiar and reminded me of Youth Group Days. I hate that its been so long that I've been apart of one, but I'm so glad because we've been going to Grace Community Church for about 2 months and we don't know a soul. So now that I can put faces to people I see and try to remember names, I feel so much better. It appears there will be other 18 month olds at this small group that J Myster can play…

A couple of weeks ago while blog hopping I found a blog post that really touched me. In Arizona you hear a lot about human trafficking and its a very scary ordeal, while human trafficking is primarily smuggling mexicans across the border, it goes both ways. Along with drug cartels, human trafficking in and out of mexico is 90 percent under aged girls. A good majority of these girls are even under the age of 10. Being a victim of sexual abuse I have a hole in my heart for any child who suffers…

I have taught sign language to my son since he was six months old and I have to say it is a great tool in communication. My son started signing back at 8 months of age and his first sign was "milk". He would successfully sign this back to me when he was hungry and it was great in curbing any kind of frustration with not know why he was crying, that and routine schedules I believe have helped greatly. I won't sit here and say that my son doesn't throw some pretty good tantrums, he's 18 months…

We've all been there as new time moms. Your child cries in the middle of the night and you run down the hall to see if they are ok. You comfort, rock and sooth them and hope you can lay them back in their crib and they will fall back asleep as you tip toe out of the room and quietly crawl back in bed. When you are nursing, you do this several times a night.

I don't think there is a person who doesn't remember where they were or what they were doing when they heard, watched on TV, or saw with their own eyes the World Trade Center Collapse on September 11th 2001. A day that will forever change America's aspects on freedom and the thoughts…
