Finding Nemo Lesson Plan

Leave it up to Pixar to have you crying in the first five minutes of a kids movie.  I remember going to see it in the theater with my husband years ago.  We love Finding Nemo <3  And now we can see it in 3D!  So, to start our Kindergarten year off, we did a fun lesson plan centered around Finding Nemo.

Owl Babies (Book) Unit Study

This was the first week we did a unit study based around a book involving fun activities!  It went over really well.  I found a website that based on your child's age or grade level gives you a list of books to read and then a PDF full of learning activities to go along with it.  I like that the activities incorporate many subjects, like math, science, art, vocabulary, etc.

Zoo Scavenger Hunt

Scavenger Hunt!

To make the trip more fun, Kiley invited her friend Greydi and I planned out a scavenger hunt. The girls had a list of things to find and then get a picture of it.  They did very good and pretty much found it all!
