SUNDAY SUPPER - HUG YOUR CHILD

This evening when we sat down to supper my 10 year old daughter asked my husband and me about the shooting in Connecticut.  I was shocked as my husband and I had decided to wait until this evening to discuss it with her because we knew she would hear about it in school on Monday morning. Several days ago "J" and I spent a few hours volunteering. We were making a difference while sharing quality time together.  Volunteering is selfless and gets kids away from the mentality that everything is about them.
