Shouldn't we be protecting our children?!

There is great concern, bordering on hysteria about the swine flu/ H1N1 virus spreading across the country and beyond and the battle over who should and shouldn’t get the vaccine. Pregnant women are getting mixed messages and several hundred (already suffering) kids have passed away from the flu, as they do each year. Rightfully so, everyone is worried about the children and what they should do to protect them.

It's not our Mother's life and that's gonna have to be okay!

I have been working some extra shifts to catch up to so many bills that have accumulated over the past months and years. I am grateful beyond measure that I have a job to work at and that I am able to get some extra work occasionally. That being said, I was driving home the other night thinking about how lucky previous generations of our Mothers were and how they had it so much easier.

Wouldn't you love to be part of kicking Childhood Cancer's Ass?! I know I can't wait!!!!

So here we are at another October page on the calender. As most of you know this is the month that changed my family’s life for the better and the worse.
