New post after some time off!

I had taken some time off of blogging to deal with some personal family

issues. Now that I am back to blogging, I thought I would share a dress I

made out of two dresses (today's post.) I will be wearing this to a

wedding in a couple weeks.

Turned this muumuu into an off the shoulder tunic for$3!

This is my 5th successful re-purposed item! And it only cost me $3 TOTAL!

Old Dress to New Apron

Here is my second recycled item. I dug through my pile and found this dress and was able to turn the dress that I have had for over 5 years into a double layered skirt apron. I love the flower print and the fluffiness of the layers. I ran into a problem with the tie, but managed to make it work out.

Old Dress to New Top!

I just started blogging about turning something old into something new. I have many clothes that are boxed up from my pre-baby times, that I have come to realize I will never wear again. Instead of throwing them out, I have decided to recycle them into something new that I can add to my wardrobe. This was my first attempt... I took this old summer dress, which is too short for me now, and turned it into a top. I am not an expert at sewing, but I can work a sewing machine. :) …
