Are you messing with me?

Whenever I leave the kids with my husband, by the time I come home, the house looks like a tornado went through it. I can’t seem to understand how it gets so messy! And, if I ask my husband what happened and why it’s so messy, his usual response is; “I’ve been busy watching the kids, I haven’t had a chance to clean up yet.” This is after watching the kids after only 1 hour.

Saying Goodbye...

My youngest is almost 8 months and for the last few weeks I’ve been going through my usual ‘mourning period.’  And no, I’m not talking about my menstrual cycle.  After I had my first child, I went through a brief time where I really missed my life before kids and I felt as though I was ‘mourning’ the loss of that life. And now with my second child, I’m going through it again.
