The Origins of Halloween - How did it get started?

Halloween is not only a colourful night of fun, frights, sweets and
costumes. It is a full-blown industry, with more than $14 billion spent
each year on costumes, decorations, party supplies, candy and other
paraphernalia.

How did it all get started?

Read about it on my blog, Mayra's Secret Bookcase.

Happy Halloween! :-)

How often do you buy children's picture books?

Hi all,

As a children's author, I'd love to ask you the following questions:

How often do you purchase picture books?

Or do you, as a rule, borrow them from the library because of their cost? Do you think they're overpriced?

Do you ever give them as gifts for Christmas of birthdays?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!
