The day you’ve dreamed of for years has finally arrived! Your little girl is all grown up and has chosen a partner to start her life with, and you are officially a MoB -- Mother of the Bride! While congratulatory remarks are appropriate at this juncture, so are a few…

How to Through A Larger Than Life Small Wedding on a Budget

This one is as simple as crowdfunding your honeymoon. It might sound strange at first, but do you really need another blender or set of dinner plates? Instead of having your guests purchase a bunch of things you’ll end up trying to return anyway, why not let them chip in for…

Children are our mirrors.

Did you know that your children are sometimes your mirrors? They come into this world to teach us something about ourselves? What does your child teach you about yourself?

My daughter taught me determination, persistance and perseverence. My 4 year old daughter is a very independant child. She wants to do everything by herself and she will try and try and try until she will succeed. Sometimes she will get frustrated when she tries to button a shirt or some pants, but she will persist until… Continue

A little princess who loves to dress up.

Hi everyone,

I have a 4 year old daughter and she is what we call a coquette. She loves to dress up with beautiful girly clothes and she is very selctive about it. Here where I live in Montreal Canada it is cold now in Septemeber. My daughter loves to wear dresses. So I decided to look for those fashionable long blouses that look a little bit like… Continue

Decluttering.

Decluttering is the most liberating feeling one can have. Yesterday I decided to tukle my daughter's room. She had so many toys that she didn,t even have a chance to see them because there were too many things. Every time I went into her room, I came across the same mountain of toys. So yesterday, I told myself, no matter what else I have to do, I am putting order in this room and I did. Before starting, I planned to do only a small part, but after seeing that it goes faster than I expected, I… Continue

The Power of you!

Right now I am reading a book called: You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay. I love this book very much. I came across a very intresting message: I open myselfto the wisdom within, knowing that there is only One Intelligence in this Universe. Out of this One Intelligence comes all the answers, all the solutions, all the healings, all new creations. I trust this Power and Intelligence, knowing that whatever I need to know is revealed to me, and whatever I need comes to me in the right time,… Continue

Do you trust life guards?

A week ago, our community has faced a very sad event, a 4 year old girl has drowned in our community swimming pool. The same pool I often take my kids to. I was not at the scene, but the story has effected me very much since I also have a 4 year old daughter. I do not want to go to the details of the story because the facts are still being investigated. What I do want to ask is the foloowing question: How much can we trust life guards? Should we put all our faith in them? When you go to the… Continue

compassion

Today I was watching the Oprah show and she was talking about the most important stories so far. She brought up the Tanya Harding and Nancy Carrigan scandal. Tanya Harding had a chance to explain what has happened. What i learned from that show is that you should never judge what you see on TV because you never know what emotional pain drove these people to act the way they acted. These people act in aviolent way because they have a lot of emotional pain such as physical, and verbal abuse or… Continue
