How to Glam up Your Everyday Office Look in the Winters

While formal wear in the summers mean quickly pairing a top with trousers, looking glam while also beating the chills can sometimes be tricky. While dropping temperatures bring with them several style options, they may not be your best bet in a professional…

My son will be 6 months old in a few days and I love him more than life. He is a joy during the day and naps pretty decent (2-3 naps lasting about 45 mins to 1 1/2 hrs.) Night time is another story though and I think I might go crazy very soon if he doesn't start sleeping. He goes down anywhere between 8:30 - 10:00 and usually goes down without much fuss. He will just lay in my husbands arms and fall asleep with a little rocking. He eats usually within a hour before going to be and we will sometimes have a bottle ready to help coax him to sleep when he decides to fight his sleep. The problem is that for the last 3 nights, he has woken up every 25 -45 mins. This goes on ALL night long until around 5-6. Then he conks out until atleast 7 if not 8am. I am not sure how he even gets thru the day with such little sleep and i am sure that I will pass out one of these days from the lack of sleep. he will usually eat 2-4 ounces thru the night, around 2-3 AM.

So I am wondering if he is going through a phase or if this is a common issue? Is there any hope for a good nights sleep for all of us in the near future? I should also mention that he has been "examined" by his doctor and had blood drawn. Nothing is going on medically that the doctor can determine. He is on an acid reflux medicine but he has been on this since birth and this is a very new problem. Before he would sleep until 3 and then up for the day around 6:30.

Thanks Suzanne. We are acutally waiting on a few more test because he randomly has blood in his urine. I think its a cross between growing, teething, and we stopped putting him in his swaddler. He moves around so much at night that we were using them and are slowly letting him sleep with just PJs on. He did fine the first couple of nights and does fine all day in just clothes or PJs. I wanted to stop using the swaddler because he has been rolling a lot in his sleep but now I might have to go back just to get a decent nights sleep...LOL

Oh you poor thing! I remember those days! I'm sure your other mom friends will tell you that if your doctor has already checked him, then he is just going through a phase. (And that first year is such an adjustment for a new mom...) Our son never slept through the night until 21 months old! We had him checked for everything and finally our doctor said he was just stubborn! Let's hope this is phase won't last long! Take care! BTW, I'm a mother of 3 and have survived many different struggles with my kids, you will too! :)
