How often do you buy children's picture books?

Hi all,

As a children's author, I'd love to ask you the following questions:

How often do you purchase picture books?

Or do you, as a rule, borrow them from the library because of their cost? Do you think they're overpriced?

Do you ever give them as gifts for Christmas of birthdays?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

Thanks, Tesha!

Wow, your daughters are lucky--15 books a month is awesome! Thans so much for your feedback. It's very helpful.

We buy them but honestly my daughters grandmother buys her about 15 books per month. She purchases a lot from TJ Maxx/Marshalls which are around $3-4 less and Borders on sale. We don't do the library yet because she still tears pages etc. We do like giving books as gifts as well. Hope this helps
