365 Days of Blessings – Day 79 – Last Minute Chiropractic Appointments

I am thankful for last minute chiropractic appointments

I can’t move my neck.  Truly a problem in a house with a toddler!  I woke up sometime in the night with the inability to get comfortable and in agony when I had to turn on my right side to nurse.  Wonder if it had anything to do with the out-of-place rib I got my hubby to self adjust for me before I went to bed last night.  (If you now my chiropractor, just don’t tell him!).  Whatever the reason , I found myself this morning  calling as soon as they opened to get a last-minute appointment before hubby had to leave for work.

Spent the drive unable to do proper shoulder checks.  Good thing his office is just around the corner!  Took him 20 minutes of pressing pressure points (OUCH!) before he could even adjust my neck.  I have a little bit more movement, a little less pain (not much), and he couldn’t even adjust my back for fear of messing up my neck again.  He even asked me if Hubby would be calling in sick.  Nope!

Got home and had my husband set up the playpen for Poppet’s naps (so I wouldn’t have to lift her much).  Hopefully she’s not grumpy today, I’m definitely not up for a battle!

Warmest regards,

Chiropractors are hidden blessings! I can't understand how more people don't use them more often.  There are days where I would be completely non-fuctional without my chiropractor!  I call mine "Dr. Feelgood." :)
