Moms are busy people and they don't have a lot of time each day to do makeup. As a mother of 2 and a professional makeup artist, here are my beauty tips for moms on the go:
1.Keep Your Makeup Tools in the Car - Get a small makeup bag and put in a set of tweezers, combs, brushes and other makeup tools that you use often. Place this bag in the glove box of your car. The next time your baby takes a nap in the car, you can take this bag out and do some grooming or quick makeup fixes.
2.Use Facial Wipes - Trust me, sometimes the day gets so busy that moms have no time to wash their face or shower. Use facial wipes to clean your face before going to sleep will allow your skin to breathe during the night. Wake up early in the morning for a shower instead.
3.Wear Fake Glasses to Hide Your Eyes - Got those black circles around your eyes due to lack of sleep? Get a pair of black frame glasses (with prescription if you need it). They do a great job at hiding your eyes and make them appear bigger too.
4.Use Waterproof Mascara - There will be lots of little emotional moments. Using a waterproof mascara will ensure that your makeup stays in place after the tears.
5.Use Dry Shampoo - If you have no time for a shower, chances are your hair will not smell pretty. Using some dry shampoo will allow you to remove excess oil and grease in your hair quickly and make them look fresh until you find time to shower.
About the Author: Hi Moms, thank you for reading my post. I hope that it has helped you with your beauty routine while you are busy taking care of your little one. My name is Sandy Taylor and I am a professional makeup artist from Vancouver BC. I remember how difficult it was trying to look beautiful and fit during my pregnancy and the first year of my baby's life. Although it was though, I was able to find ways to work around my beauty routine that allowed me to stay beautiful during my pregnancy. I wanted to share this with the community. In my spare time, I work on my blog Foundation Fairy. Its a place where I share my beauty tips and tricks that I have learned over the years. If you have any beauty questions, please feel free to ask me and I will be more than happy to help!
