I really should think up a clever title to this post.

Ahhhh, screw it….who am I kidding. I can’t be creative this early without massive amounts of caffeine.

I work tonight, and so I’m expecting that there will be yet another argument at some point this evening. He started last night and I refused to even discuss it.

We found out that our new oil heat monthly payment will be $240 per month. This is roughly an additional $100 over last year. Plus, we need a new furnace and getting him to do something about it is like pulling teeth. I have been asking him to call around for MONTHS!!! And here we are, in late September….and still with the completely inefficient 50+ year old furnace.

And speaking of teeth, we were going to try to get him in at his dentist to have some of his teeth crowned. He must have been quite a grinder in his day. His teeth really need work. I just want him to be able to feel comfortable smiling in a picture and I don’t care how much it costs (incidentally…about $6000 when all is said and done). The kids have also taken to grinding their teeth. It is like fingernails on a chalkboard to hear that. Drives me batty….

I had a friend stop by for a quick visit. It was nice to actually have another adult to talk to. Of course, when I wasn’t looking, Daniel managed to roll off the changing table (changing pad and all). Lots of screaming, but no bumps or bruises. I was just pretty embarrassed…my friend, who has kids, completely understood. Daniel is quick….like little lightening man…..and BOOM! My friend has been such a gift to me the last couple of weeks.

I did manage to sneak in some Mommy time before bathtime last night. I went on a 25 minute bike ride over to the park. I put my ipod in and was off in my own little world. It was great. And what a difference not dragging 50 lbs of baby and the trailer. It was much more relaxing.

So, another day has dawned. The kids are up and fed. I have a ton of laundry to wrestle with today and find time to make something for supper. Oh, and check everyone’s blogs…. (my guilty little pleasure)
