A Dad’s Guide to Recognizing Early Labor

Dad are you prepared for the birth of your new baby?  If not, now is a great time to begin preparing for delivery day.  It is important to be  prepared so that you know exactly what to do when your wife or significant appears to be in labor.  The best way to learn about labor is to attend a child birthing class with your wife or significant other; however, child birth classes are not the only way for you to prepare for labor and delivery.  As your child’s due date approaches, the chances of labor onset increases and can catch you by surprise if you are not prepared.  Many couples try self induction methods in attempt to jump start labor.  However, your baby will come when he or she is ready and there isn’t much you can do to force labor unless her body is ready.
