Baby Showers: The Next Big Thing

Like so many modern celebrations, Baby Showers have arrived in the UK from North America. It’s a real tradition over there and, like High School Proms, Halloween and Black Friday, one of those exciting social events that is catching on big time over here.

OUR DAILY PINS

A Joy by any other name - is she still the same?

When I started to blog online I had set up a company. The business adviser told me to never use my real name on the internet. OK, I can see why. If I google my 'handle' JoyntHeir, there are hundreds or thousands of links. If I google my alias, there are again tons of links that come up. If I Google my real name, some gal on the west coast shows up. A good way to be anonymous.

It has been bothering me more and more as I make friends online. I have found that most people use their name, not an alias. I hope my friends will understand and not feel like I have been deceiving them. Tonight I changed my facebook to my real name and I want all my friends here to know that Faye and Joy are one and the same. I have just come out of hiding so to speak.

Has anyone else used an alias?
