I was approached by the makers of Karito Kids dolls, KidsGive LLC, to review two of their “Word Collection” dolls. The word “Karito” means “charity” and “love of one’s neighbor” in Esperanto. Karito Kids highlights the beauty of each ethnic group and depicts modern-day life in each country and culture, showing children the similarities shared by kids around the world.
Every one of these tall, beautifully crafted dolls comes with the cutest outfit, a passport, and a book that tells a fun story involving that girl. I received Zoe and Gia. Zoe, a blonde little girl, lives in New York City. Her little clothes are adorable, and these dolls are so detailed and life-like, she even wears underwear under her tights! Gia, a little fashion diva, lives in Florence, Italy, and her book tells kids about her adventure of living in an inn.
