We made it to Pennsylvania...now I just have to learn to spell it. Our first night was not bliss and it didn't really feel like home sweet home. We got in later than we expected (shocking) and when we finally
made it to bed no one seemed to sleep.
Ashlyn, Sydnie and Payden woke up at multiple times for various reasons
(the weirdest being Ashlyn who needed me to button up her PJ's at 4:30
a.m....that's normal, right?) and it seemed like the night was
never-ending. When morning finally came it was a little overwhelming
since most our stuff was still in the U-haul. I tried to be really smart
and had bought cereal for breakfast before we left but forgot one small
detail...milk. So we had yummy Cranberry English muffins instead (at
least I had a back-up plan) and then went shopping for food which was
also a little overwhelming since we needed everything from band-aids to
green peppers.

To complete the feeling of being overwhelmed we unloaded the U-haul
after returning home so there was a looming pile of totes and bags in
our living room. Needless to say Day One wasn't super productive, I felt
like I wandered around the house in circles more than anything, but at
least I managed to get milk!

Today I got attacked the pile of totes and things are feeling a little
more "homey". Adam went out and bought a TV, something he's been excited
to do for awhile. We've never bought a TV before so he was excited to
finally have a nice one. He also got Xbox Kinect as a Christmas present
for our family which he set up and it is soooo fun!! I love it! I wish
we had some friends here so we could have them over to play. I guess
that sounds like something a teenager would do, huh?! :) But it's really
fun and the girls love it since they can jump around and see themselves
move on T.V.

In more annoying news Payden has learned that she can scream. She
screams when she wants something, when she doesn't want something, when
she's excited, mad, sad...do you get the picture? It's driving us all
crazy and I really don't know how to get her to stop. She's only 10
months old so I'm not sure there's much I can do but if anyone out there
has any advice please help!! I fear I may go insane if I have to hear
much more of her beautiful high pitched yells.
