There is no reason to deny it anymore,no matter how painful it is. SIGH… I gained a lot of weight this last year and I have decided it’s time to get my weight and fitness back. I started this blog as a way to document my weight journey and share tips with others. It has been proven that people are more successful in losing weight if at least three of the friends join them in their journey. So it is my hope that others will join me on this blog and share how they are doing on their weight loss journey. I would love to hear what you’re doing to lose weight and become fit again.

I started a 90 Day Health & Fitness Journey with my husband and my oldest son. Shortly after, my two youngest kiddos decided that they were doing a modified 90 Day Challenge..I think that is so cute:-) Paola and Alex tag along to my swimming sessions and pool exercises and they do many of them with me. They really love being motivated and having their own goals. My goal is roughly 40 pounds but for now and I’ve been doing the challenge for 30 days. Until now I lost about 10 pounds, about 5 % body fat and several inches around the waist. I’ve been working out a lot so I’m building muscle therefore it doesn’t show so much in pounds yet.

It sucks to admit that I gained so much weight, especially after blogging about health and wellness for years on my blog, Jo’s Health Corner..But but..We are all just humans and sometimes things just happen. Last year we moved from Texas to California and it was a lot of stress involved. We live in a very small place since we most likely are not going to stay up here in the mountains after my oldest son goes to college in January. I can come up with thousands of excuses why I gained weight such as the stress of moving (when I’m stressed I eat more), not enough room to exercise, no home gym anymore, not access to my exercise DVD’s and so on…But it doesn’t really matter, what really matter is that I’m taking action NOW and is ready to do something about it..What about you?
