Talking to teenagers to give advice or simply to find out how they are doing is not a common act among parents today. One of the reasons why this is so is that teenagers in general are difficult to approach, let alone communicate with. A gap in age could be an obvious cause to blame, but despite these impediments, parents should never give up on trying to communicate with their children, especially during this complicated stage of adolescence.
