If you follow me on Twitter, you may have seen last week that I decided to become a fit mommy. And given my propensity to say that I’m just way too busy to work out, you may have found that to be a little…strange. So here’s the beef:
Back before we had Ricky, I was a workout queen. I worked out several times a week, had a gym membership, elliptical in the basement, the works. Most of the time I spent with my girlfriends was actually working out at Lifetime. It was a little obsessive.
And then we got pregnant, had a baby, and I canceled my gym membership. Workin on my fitness became a sad goal of my past life. Other than power walking and the occasional jaunt on my elliptical, I just didn’t have time. Or rather – I wasn’t willing to make the time.
